True 100% Blackout Fabric
Most "blackout fabric" only stops 75-90% of light. Sleepout® Blackout Fabric blocks 100% of light.
What makes Sleepout Home the best?
-
Stops light at the top of your window
Sleepout® Home's unique patented design uses a light guard on the top of the curtain panels to limit light from coming in at the top of your window.
-
One-of-a-kind 100% blackout fabric
Our certified 100% blackout fabric completely stops light & UV by reflecting light & heat hitting the windows from outside.

Other curtains you have to put several panels per window for them to work. The problem with that is when you open the curtains half the window is blocked with fabric. With these when you open them the whole window is visible. So much more light comes in when you want it to. When closed they effectively block light from coming in. I put them in literally every window in my house!
Love these curtains. They block the light completely, and I don’t have to worry about adding more toxins to the air as a bonus. The only thing I wish they would change is that they are made in China.
I love how these curtains darken the room, but it’s definitely not 100% blackout. It could be if you found a way to secure it to the window to prevent light from filtering through the top of windowsill and the crack that happens when you pull both panels towards the middle. Do we sleep better, yes. But if you need true blackout, no light, as we do for our baby’s room, no.
