How to Choose the Right Curtain Size

Go big: Always choose the largest curtain size your space allows. Oversized curtains make windows appear larger and add drama to the room. It's always better to have curtains puddle on the floor than be too short.

Touch the floor: For the best look, curtains should either lightly graze the floor or puddle slightly, depending on your style.

Mount high and wide: Install the curtain rod about 12 inches (1 foot) above the top of the window and extend it 18 inches beyond each side. This creates the illusion of taller, wider windows and allows more natural light when curtains are open.

Choose the Perfect Curtain Length
Start by measuring from the floor to the spot where you plan to hang the rod, we suggest as high as possible, up to 108 inches. This ensures the curtains will just skim the floor, which is our recommended look.
Our 64" & 84” curtains work great for windows above furniture or radiators, where full-length curtains might be blocked.
For high ceilings or to create the illusion of taller ceilings, our 96” curtains are a perfect choice, drawing the eye upward.
For windows wider than 90" we recommend getting an extra curtain set.
