Amazing! I finally pulled the plug and ordered four. My house gets so hot during the day/late afternoon all due to sun positioning. As a 44 year old hot enough woman, I was asking for a new air conditioner even though I knew it probably wouldn’t fix the sun. I finally decided I’ve blown money in worse ways, why not give these a try.

I didn’t want to take down my current average blinds/curtains, and these worked beautifully. *I do have one small bathroom window that looks pretty awful with all the bunched up extra fabric, but you know what, I can now get dressed in there at 5:30PM and not have a come apart from heat exhaustion. I may have my window lady alter them, but maybe not. I only have these on back of house windows where no one can see them. They look better than tin foil, but still not a clean look and I don’t want to take down and put up every day.

My goal is to put them up each June 1st, and leave them up until October probably. It stays hot in the South, but usually by October/November it’s not 103!

Got these after reviewing the much more expensive (and often uglier) alternatives like metal framed toolless insert blackout shades ($500) and professional window treatments ($1000).

They are truly black-out, heavy enough not to move too easily, and cleverly portable. Love that they're universal size - we have large 5' x 3' ish windows and didn't even need the XL version.

At first they seemed to be aesthetically meh (they needed heavy ironing upon arrival and the top edge of the curtains in particular seemed to sag between the velcro'd corners, leaving a gap) but with a set of attractive braided magnetic tie-backs from Amazon and drawing the shades in front of the gap, they actually ended up elevating our space and making it comparatively more bedroom-y and designer looking than without!

I'd love to see more color options, tie backs sold with the curtains or as accessories, and perhaps a Velcro strip or other solution for the top horizontal edge issue (but easily DIY'd).

They really offer white and they block out light

Sturdy, stable, well made, extremely easy to hang, creates complete darkness, love the versatility to bee able to hang either direction and a handy travel bag. I have beautiful windows with incredible views and didn’t want to install blinds, these shades are perfect especially in the guest rooms

Installed easily, and does an excellent job. Already recommended to friends at work.

I love the Sleepout curtains!

They really block out the light and heat. The side edges can be pushed into the window frame. I bought two for my bedroom and one for my son's room.

My one complaint is the suction cups, while sturdy, are not enough to block out all the light at the top of the frame. They leave large gaps.

My solution: I bought Command Spring Clips to support the suction cups. It takes about 7-8 clips per curtain, evenly spaced apart to support the drag on the curtains.

Since then, the light at the very top is minimal and curtains are well secured. I love them!

Great investment! I highly recommend Command Spring Clips, sold via Amazon and Walmart. A little extra effort, but totally worth it!

Our nursery has a little nook with an opening that let in a lot of light. The large curtain is perfect! Love how easy it was to install and damage free it’ll be when he no longer needs them when he’s older or we find a more permanent solution that probably won’t be as effective as this curtain! He was struggling so much with nap time. Getting so distracted with leaks of light with the curtains we had up on the inside. When we noticed a small defect, seriously so small, customer support went above and beyond to resolve it in a way I didn’t expect! Great support and company. Thank you! Purchased a travel set too for an upcoming trip!

I’ve tried so many diy’s and “blackout” curtains, but this is a noticeable difference. I personally think the travel ones are the way to go. We use it mostly in our daughters bedroom, but when we go to our nanas house it’s quick and easy to pop them off and bring them to her house for naps. Simple, easy, genius. You need them. They’re pretty expensive but I truly don’t think you’ll regret it! You’ve already made it this far to read the reviews, you may as well try them risk free.

We need blackout curtains esp when we travel. So many resorts do not have complete blackout so these are so easy to pack and bring with you anywhere! We love it! We did notice though that you need to put it down and pack it in the mornings and put it back up every night because the suction cups will fall over time. When this happens, we simply wet the suction cups to adhere to the glass better. It works like a charm! Thank you sleepout curtains! Life changing for travel! 🥰 as you can see we are at the beach and the resort only had blinds that does not completely block out the sun in the morning.

The curtain only took a minute to install! Love that it comes with its own case, and is made from non toxic materials. Will never travel without it!

I am obsessed with sleep optimization and hate it when I go to an Airbnb or hotel and they have poor window treatments that make it impossible to sleep because it’s too bright. My sleep out curtain is being packed in my travel bag every time from now on! These actually black out my room 100%. So easy to use too.

I bought two more because I liked the first set so much. They keep the hot summer afternoon sun from heating up the room as well as providing some shade so the family can watch a little TV together in the biggest room in the house.
In the morning when daylight is cool and pleasant we get our entire window back when we slip the covers off tge simple Velcro suction cup gadgets. It’s wonderful ! Who needs bulky stiff curtains? We don’t !

These blackout curtains works great as advertised. The suction cups make it easy to put them up anywhere you travel. Would definately buy again if we need more.

Hello! I can’t give the blackout curtain a review because I am going to use them when we are in Florida in a rental condo in February. I am hoping they are everything I hope they will be!.

Curtains do a good job of blocking out light. Would be nice if additional fastener suction cups came with the larger curtains. With just two, the large curtains can sag at the top and let light in. Also the price for curtains and additional cups is a little expensive if they are “necessary” in some cases. Not sure if I will buy more in the future but good for traveling.

So easy and so effective. I love these curtains!

I received my blackout curtains two days ago and used them to block light from the double glass doors in our bedroom. It worked exactly as they advertised! They come with a carrying bag and I was surprised at how light weight they were. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Has changed my sleep while working night shift, only thing is I wish it came with an extra suction cup for the window.

Worth every penny, im amazed on how light these are. Installation was faster than i thought. They block out the afternoon heat and blackout so much light, im sleeping better than i have in years. Highly recommended.

I got this for my son's dorm room. It has made a HUGE difference, and allowed him some much deserved and needed rest. His room got full sun, but now is blissfully dark.
